Refund policy
Every LT Forged wheel is built to order. You're charged in full at checkout. After you order, I email you a complete spec sheet — your vehicle, fitment, construction, finish, every number — for you to confirm or revise. You have 48 hours. Once that window closes and your build locks, we allocate your billet, open a slot at the forge, and start the 8 to 12 week build for your set. Because each set is cut to your confirmed spec, this policy reflects how custom-forged wheels work.
1. The 48-hour confirmation window — change or cancel for a full refund
When you check out, you're charged in full and your order enters a 48-hour spec-confirmation window. During this window:
- I email you a full spec sheet for your set.
- You confirm it, or you revise any selection — vehicle, offset, width, bolt pattern, hub bore, construction, finish, center cap.
- You can cancel for a full refund, no questions asked.
If you don't respond within 48 hours, the order auto-locks as originally configured and the build begins. So if anything looks wrong on the spec sheet, reply before the window closes.
2. After the build locks — non-cancellable, non-refundable
Once the 48-hour window closes and forging begins, the order is final:
- No cancellation
- No refund
- No design changes (finish, offset, width, bolt pattern, hub bore, center cap)
Your billet is allocated and your program is loaded. This is standard for made-to-order forged wheels.
3. Pre-shipment changes — limited
Between build lock and shipment, I can't modify your build. I can update your shipping address if you contact me before the freight booking is locked (typically 5 to 7 days before dispatch).
4. Post-shipment returns — not accepted
Custom-forged wheels are not eligible for return once shipped. This includes:
- "Changed my mind" returns
- Fitment disputes where you supplied and confirmed the fitment (see Section 6)
Your finished wheels are built to the spec sheet you confirm in writing. The configurator preview is a representative placeholder, not a per-finish render — your actual finish, fitment, and specs are locked by the written spec sheet, not by the on-screen preview. Real metal under real light varies from any screen image; that variation is normal and is not a defect.
5. Damage in transit — replacement, not refund
If your wheels arrive with freight damage, you must:
- Inspect every box at delivery, before signing the proof of delivery (POD)
- Photograph any damaged packaging or wheels while the freight driver is still present
- Note the damage on the POD before signing
- Email [email protected] within 48 hours with photos
If you sign a clean POD and later report damage, it becomes a "concealed damage" claim, which carriers and insurers handle case by case. I'll still help, but recovery isn't guaranteed.
For confirmed freight damage, I replace the damaged wheel(s) at no charge. The replacement timeline matches the original build timeline (8 to 12 weeks). I don't refund in place of replacement, except by mutual agreement when replacement isn't viable.
6. Fitment disputes — you own the confirmed spec
Your spec sheet is the record. When you confirm it (or let it auto-lock after 48 hours), those numbers are yours.
If the wheels arrive built to the specs you confirmed, the order is fulfilled correctly, and a fitment complaint is not a defect. If you confirmed specs that don't fit your car, that's your responsibility — I don't refund, replace, buy back, or credit wheels built correctly to customer-confirmed specs.
If I build to specs different from what you confirmed (my error), I replace the affected wheel(s) at my cost.
7. Defects — covered by warranty
Manufacturing defects (porosity, structural cracking, finish flaws under normal use) are handled under the Limited Warranty, not this policy. See the Warranty page.
8. Chargebacks
A chargeback on a confirmed, locked custom order is a breach of the order agreement and will be disputed with the card network. I retain your spec-sheet confirmation record and shipment records as evidence.
9. Contact
All refund and cancellation requests: [email protected]. Include your order number, vehicle, and a clear description of the issue. Photos are required for any damage claim.
