LT Forged Wheels — Limited Warranty

LT Forged stands behind every wheel we ship. Our warranty matches industry standard for premium custom-forged wheels.

Coverage at a glance

  • Structural — 3 years from delivery, original purchaser only. Manufacturing defects in the forging — porosity, structural cracks, material failure under normal use.
  • Finish — 2 years from delivery. Manufacturing defects in plating, powder coat, paint, or anodizing under normal use.
  • Workmanship — 2 years from delivery. Defects in machining, assembly, or hardware that are present from delivery.

02 — What's covered

What's covered

Structural (3 years, original purchaser):

  • Forge porosity discovered under normal use
  • Cracking or fracture not caused by impact, abuse, or improper installation
  • Material failure traceable to the forging process

Finish (2 years):

  • Plating delamination, blistering, or peeling not caused by impact or chemical attack
  • Powder coat or paint adhesion failure not caused by impact or improper cleaning
  • Color-shift or premature fade beyond normal weathering

Workmanship (2 years):

  • Machining defects (out-of-round, runout outside spec)
  • Hardware defects (bolts, valve stems, center-cap retention)
  • Assembly defects on multi-piece wheels (lip-to-center seal, fastener torque)

03 — What's not covered

What's NOT covered

  1. Curb rash, scratches, scuffs, or any cosmetic damage from contact with curbs, road debris, tools, or any other object after delivery.
  2. Installation damage — chipped finish from improperly fitted balancing weights, mounting machine damage, lug-seat damage from over-torque, scratches from improper handling at install.
  3. Impact damage — bent, cracked, or deformed wheels from potholes, debris, accidents, or off-road use beyond the wheel's rated application.
  4. Track, racing, autocross, drift, rally, off-road, or other competitive use unless the specific wheel was sold for that application.
  5. Improper fitment — wheels installed on a vehicle different from the one specified at order, wheels installed with incorrect spacers, hub-centric rings, or lug hardware.
  6. Chemical or environmental damage — acid wheel cleaners, salt corrosion beyond normal exposure, brake-fluid attack on finish, road-tar staining left untreated.
  7. Modification — wheels that have been re-machined, re-finished, re-drilled, welded, or otherwise altered after delivery.
  8. Wheels with removed, defaced, or altered serial numbers / engravings.
  9. Subsequent owners — warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
  10. Vehicle damage, downtime, install/uninstall labor, balancing, alignment, towing, or any consequential or incidental cost. Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the wheel itself.

04 — File a claim

How to file a warranty claim

  1. Email [email protected] with: order number, VIN of the vehicle, photos of the defect (clear, well-lit, multiple angles), description of when and how the issue appeared, mileage on the wheels (approximate).
  2. We respond within 3 business days with a claim number and next steps.
  3. For structural claims, we may request the wheel be returned for inspection (we cover return freight on confirmed structural claims).
  4. If the claim is approved, we repair or replace the wheel at our sole discretion, with the same finish and specifications as the original.
  5. Replacement wheels carry the remainder of the original warranty term, not a fresh one.

05 — Structural claim handling

Structural claim — special handling

A structural defect is a safety matter. If a wheel cracks, fails, or shows porosity:

  • Stop driving on it immediately.
  • Photograph the defect in place before removal where safe.
  • Contact us within 48 hours of discovery.
  • We may, at our discretion, request the wheel for forensic inspection.

If a structural defect pattern emerges across multiple sets from the same production batch, we will conduct a voluntary recall of the affected serial range and report to NHTSA as required under the TREAD Act.

06 — Limitation of liability

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LT Forged's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective wheel. LT Forged is not liable for incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to vehicle damage, loss of use, towing, install/uninstall labor, lodging, or lost wages.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.

07 — Compliance
