FAQ

01 — Lead times

LEAD TIMES

Every wheel is built to order. Standard production is 8–12 weeks from checkout. Custom designs add ~7 days for concept renders, then standard 8–12 weeks from forge-spec lock.

02 — Shipping

SHIPPING

Free shipping within the continental United States. Wheels ship in foam-lined boxes via UPS or freight depending on order size. Alaska and Hawaii: contact us at [email protected] for a freight quote. International shipping isn’t open yet — it’s on our roadmap; email us to join the international list and we’ll tell you the moment it opens. Inspect all boxes at delivery and note any visible damage with the carrier before signing.

Ordering for a client? We can ship to your shop or drop-ship direct to them within the continental US — just tell us at spec-confirm. For a client abroad, email us and we’ll advise on timing.

03 — Returns

RETURNS

You’re charged in full at checkout, then we email you a complete spec sheet with a 48-hour window to confirm it, revise it, or cancel for a full refund. Once the window closes and your build locks, forging begins — no cancellation, no refund. Manufacturing defects are covered under our Limited Warranty (3-year structural / 2-year finish / 2-year workmanship). Freight damage triggers replacement, not refund. See Refund & Cancellation Policy for the complete terms.

04 — Warranty

WARRANTY

3-year structural warranty for the original purchaser. 2-year finish warranty. 2-year workmanship warranty. It covers manufacturing defects in the forging, finish, and workmanship. What isn’t covered is impact damage — potholes, curbs, rocks, crashes — because that’s damage, not a defect. Full terms at /pages/warranty.

05 — Custom designs

CUSTOM DESIGNS

Yes — bring a sketch, an inspiration set, or a spoke pattern you want forged. We’ll build it to your fitment. Start your custom inquiry →

06 — Fitment

FITMENT

Fitment is customer-driven and validated. Inside the configurator, pick your year/make/model and we auto-fill the stock specs as a reference. From there you set offset (ET), width, bolt pattern, and hub bore — OE numbers for a flush stock fit, or your own targets for a wider, more aggressive setup. We check your spec against the wheel and flag any clearance concerns before you order.

Nothing is final at checkout. After you order, we email you a complete spec sheet — every number, in writing — and you have 48 hours to confirm it or revise any selection. If you don’t respond within 48 hours, the order auto-locks as configured. The spec sheet you confirm is the record: if a fitment dispute later arises and the wheels were built to that confirmed spec, the order is fulfilled correctly.

Building a classic, pre-1981, or non-database car? The vehicle lookup doesn’t cover pre-1981 vehicles and legacy VINs aren’t 17 characters — use Customize sizing in the configurator to enter your diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern and bore directly, or email us your build and we’ll size it.

If anything’s unclear before you order, email [email protected] with your year/make/model, your current setup, and a photo of your fender gap. Most replies within 48 hours.

07 — Brake clearance

BRAKE CLEARANCE

Tell us your brake setup — stock, an upgraded kit, or a big-brake kit — in the configurator or on your spec sheet, and we check wheel-to-caliper clearance against it before anything is forged. Big-brake fitments sometimes need an offset compromise; if yours does, we flag it and confirm the exact numbers with you in writing during your 48-hour spec window. Running Wilwood, Brembo, AP Racing, or Baer? Tell us the kit and we’ll confirm clearance by name against your fitment before forging. Running a specific big-brake kit and want it checked first? Email [email protected] with the kit and your fitment and we’ll confirm clearance.

08 — Payment, financing & invoices

PAYMENT, FINANCING & INVOICES

Payment is taken in full at checkout. Shop Pay Installments is available at checkout for orders that qualify. Your Shopify order-confirmation email is your itemized invoice — it lists every line, your order number, and the total, and works as the financial record if you’re rebilling a client. For orders over $10,000, or for businesses, shops, and fleet operators, email [email protected] with the subject “Pro Order” for bank-wire instructions and to set up your account. Running a fleet or buying in volume? Email [email protected] with your fleet details and ask about fleet and volume pricing.

09 — Build changes

BUILD CHANGES

Build changes (finish, offset, width, bolt pattern, center cap) are free during your 48-hour confirmation window. After the window closes and your build locks, changes aren’t possible — your billet is allocated and your program is loaded. Shipping address changes are possible up to 5–7 days before freight booking.

10 — After you order

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I ORDER?

Here’s the whole timeline. You’re charged at checkout, then we email you a full spec sheet — every number in writing. You have 48 hours to confirm it, change anything free, or cancel for a full refund. Your 8–12-week build clock starts the moment your spec locks (48 hours after checkout, or sooner if you confirm early) — not before. From there your set is forged, CNC-cut to your fitment, finished in your color, inspected, and shipped with tracking. We send you a photo at each milestone along the way.

11 — Tracking your build

HOW DO I TRACK MY BUILD?

Every email we send carries a Track build link that opens a live stepper showing exactly where your set is — spec confirmed, in production, final inspection, or shipped. You can also sign in to your account to see the same status any time, or go to Track your build and open the link from your latest email. The Build Room (the account icon, top right) keeps your order, saved builds, and care guide in one place.

12 — Milestone photos

WHEN DO I GET PHOTOS?

We photograph your set at each stage on the floor and email the photos to you as each milestone completes. Open the Track build link in that email and they load right on your tracker. Missed one? It stays attached to your build — email [email protected] and we’ll resend it.

13 — Reaching us mid-build

HOW DO I REACH YOU WHILE MY BUILD IS UNDERWAY?

Reach us any time at [email protected] — the same people who build your set read that inbox, and most replies land within 48 hours. Have your order number handy (it’s in your confirmation email) and we’ll pull your build straight up.

14 — Buying as a gift

CAN I ORDER FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

Absolutely. You don’t need to know every spec up front — grab the 17-character VIN from the driver’s door-jamb sticker or the owner’s insurance card and the configurator fills in their exact factory fitment. (Older or classic car? Pre-1981 US vehicles don’t have 17-character VINs — use Customize sizing in the configurator to enter the fitment directly, or email us.) Not sure on finish or color? Email [email protected] and we’ll send the most-picked options for their car. Because we email a full spec sheet with a 48-hour confirm-or-change window before anything is forged, the person receiving the build can review and adjust fitment or finish before it locks — no wrong-spec surprise.

15 — Shops & installers

I’M A SHOP ORDERING FOR A CLIENT — HOW DOES IT WORK?

Order through the configurator like any build, or email [email protected] with the subject “Pro Order” and we’ll set you up. Include your shop name so we can route and track it. You get the same 48-hour spec sheet to confirm on your client’s behalf, the same free shipping — to your shop or drop-shipped to the client — and your order-confirmation email works as the invoice for rebilling. Orders over $10,000 can settle by bank wire. Trade pricing and installer terms: ask us.

16 — Trucks, SUVs & 8-lug

DO YOU BUILD WHEELS FOR TRUCKS AND 8-LUG VEHICLES?

Yes — from five-lug sports cars to six-lug SUVs to eight-lug Super Duty trucks, every set is forged to your exact bolt pattern in 15–26″ diameters. We build common HD patterns including 8×170mm (Ford Super Duty), 8×165.1mm (Ram/GM HD) and 8×180mm, plus dually fitments. Because 8-lug and HD builds are made to order, email your year, make, model and trim to [email protected] and we confirm the exact pattern, hub bore and clearance with you before anything is forged.

17 — Single-wheel replacement

CAN I REPLACE JUST ONE WHEEL?

Wheels are sold as sets of four, but if you curb or crash one we can rebuild a single replacement — forged from the same program and finish-matched to your set. Per-wheel pricing starts at $1,125 (monoblock). It’s a made-to-order service for existing owners rather than a self-serve product, so email [email protected] with your order number and we’ll arrange it.

18 — Paying for your build

DO I PAY BEFORE I SEE MY WHEELS?

You see your exact build before you pay a cent. Configure your car in the live 3D configurator — face, finish, color, diameter, width, and offset — and watch it render on screen. There’s no deposit just to preview a design, and no “order first, see it later.” Payment is taken in full at checkout, and then you get a 48-hour window on your written spec sheet to confirm it, change anything free, or cancel for a full refund before your build locks and forging begins. Nothing is committed until you’ve seen it and signed off on it.
